Building your ETF Investing System

And, voila! You’ve got a classic social media post EVERY personal finance creator has to post at least once (I have… many times).

There’s a pretty good reason why: this method, Dollar Cost Averaging into the S&P500, works.

It’s a great investment strategy for someone who has a long term time horizon and believes in US equities.

But, what if you want to take more risk ? Like investing a portion of your portfolio in a high risk sector ?

Can ETFs help then ? The answer is “Yes”.

Is “Dollar Cost Averaging” (ie: investing every month a specific amount) the only way to invest in ETFs ? The answer is “No”.

This is why I think it’s essential to understand your options and build a system.

If Dollar Cost Averaging into the S&P500 is the output from the system, then great! 

I personally do just that + invest in a “World minus United States” ETF as part of my investment strategy.
